Throughout 2018 TIP Trailer Services is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a global trailer supplier to the transport industry. From its humble origins in 1968, TIP has evolved from a simple trailer rental business to a comprehensive trailer service provider with an unrivalled network across Europe and Canada.
With approximately 65,000 trailers on fleet, TIP also manage and maintain another 45,000 customer units across their 84 locations.
TIP’s services include everything from specifying and sourcing of equipment to financing, compliance management, maintenance and repair, as well as buying and selling used trailers.
Since 1968, TIP has grown together with many clients throughout Europe and North America to now manage more than 100,000 assets under its global portfolio and as Bob Fast, CEO, TIP Trailer Services says, “Our achievements would not have been possible without the trust and support of our loyal customers, key suppliers, business partners, shareholders and our TIP employees.”
In the UK and Ireland, TIP Trailer Services is celebrating its anniversary with a series of unique events including attending the CV Show in April and onwards with further events throughout the year.

From inauspicious beginnings, TIP has seen many major technical and configuration developments and as a company TIP has invested consistently to provide both assets and operational support for its customers.
