Leading Irish Haulier, Goggins Transport Limited is going from strength to strength, having invested further in its fleet of heavy commercial vehicles.

The Galway firm has taken delivery of two new heavy-duty Actros trucks, which, in addition to the four delivered earlier this year, bring to over 70, the number of Mercedes-Benz trucks now operating from its depots.

Supplied by Naas Road-based Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealer, MUTEC, and finished in Goggins Transport’s eye-catching white and red livery, the two new Actros units are powered by 530bhp engines, each with a 12 speed powershift gearbox. Below, the 8 tonne front axles are fitted with super single tyres.

Driver comfort features include Giga Space cabs on air suspension, style line package, LED interior lights, Edition 2 sun visors with spot lights. Apple Car Play, satellite navigation and bluetooth, amongst others.

Family-run for more than 40 years, Goggins Transport has two Dublin depots, one in Galway and one in Liverpool and operates a modern, assorted fleet of over 90 vehicles and 220 trailers between Ireland, UK and mainland Europe, all utilising GPS monitoring for live updates.
