PMD Business Finance has added former TotalKare sales and marketing director to its ever-growing team of commercial finance specialists.
James Radford, who was sales and marketing director at TotalKare for 29 years until recently becoming a non-executive director, has joined North Manchester based PMD Business Finance, one of the largest independent brokers in the UK.
During his time at TotalKare James supplied equipment to bus and coach operators, hauliers, franchise dealer workshops and independent repairers. TotalKare is one the UK’s market leaders in the supply of heavy-duty mobile column lifts, commercial brake testers, fixed lifts, pits, and other garage equipment Much of this equipment was supplied to customers using asset finance, leasing and contract hire packages.
James will be joining PMD as Business Development Director to focus on developing business finance opportunities with bus and coach operators and hauliers.
Commenting on his new role, James said: “During my years at TotalKare I have covered sales all over the UK and I also managed our national accounts for 10 years, as well as building and managing the sales team. I have spent lots of time face to face with customers working out not just technically which product is best for them but also from a financial point of view what works best for them.”
